Associations Committees

If you would like to be on one of the committees or would like to make a suggestion, please contact board@burtoncrossing.com.

Social Committee:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to handling of the bi-yearly garage sale: scheduling, ordering signs, fliers, etc. You may also plan a social event, such as a block party, chili cook-off, ice cream social, etc. Community involvement activities like Christmas Decorating Contests or Landscaping Awards would also fall under this committee should you decide to do such activities. The board will set a yearly budget that will be available for use when executing any of these tasks.

Architectural Committee:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to review and approval, disapproval and aid in allowing residence to alter property within the guidelines of the Covenant. Your responsible include recording request on our website as well as sending out notification via email to parties requesting to alter property. When projects are completed you will also inspect and record information on the website. Other duties include monthly inspections of city signage, and street lights to ensure all items are in good working order.

Violations Committee:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to inspections to the Burton Crossing Neighborhood residents to ensure that they are maintaining their property within the guidelines of the Covenant. You will also be responsible for investigating reports made by residents whom post issues on the website. You will be responsible for recording violations on the website and aiding the Board in getting letters sent out to the Homeowner. Once a violation is reported you will need to watch the issue daily until the problem is corrected and record daily findings on the website. Your identity will not be revealed to the members of the Community unless you choose to reveal such information.
