In general, trees do not need the approval of the Design Review Board, however homeowners should note the following:
a. Any damage to sidewalks or streets, caused by the trees and/or roots of trees on an owner's property, will be the responsibility of the owner.
b. It does not matter who or when the trees were planted. The current property owner will be held responsible for damage.
c. This includes trees planted in the area between the sidewalk and the street.
d. The property owner must remove dead trees within a reasonable amount of time.
