Recycle Indianapolis Program

This program accepts your steel and aluminum beverage and food cans; empty aerosol cans; glass (brown, clear and green); #1 and #2 plastics; and newspapers.

There are several Drop-off locations:

Kroger, 6025 Madison Avenue (Madison and Edgewood)
Kroger, 4202 S. East Street
Kroger, 8707 Hardigan Street (Target Mall Greenwood)

Indianapolis offers a FREE, year-round service called "ToxDrops". This collection program that makes it easier for Indianapolis residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste (paint, cleaners, chemicals). Materials may be dropped off between 9 AM and 2 PM on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at the Perry Township Government Center collection site at 4925 Shelby Street.

Welcome! The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,753 groups with 6,770,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer (them's good people). Membership is free.
